DTF Printing Services & Pricing

Why DTF? Direct-to-film printing captures tiny lines, gradients, and textures that can be hard with other methods. Transfers arrive ready-to-press, so turnarounds are fast and there’s no setup bottleneck for small-batch or on-demand runs.

What impacts price? Size of the print area, quantity, finish preferences, and whether you’re ordering DTF transfer sheets or DTF gang sheets. We keep pricing transparent and help you choose the most efficient path—single placements for simple orders, gang sheets for multi-SKU batches or logo repeats.

DTF Transfer Products & Gang Sheets

Ready-to-press transfers arrive trimmed and labeled for an easy heat-press workflow. They’re ideal for teams, uniforms, and time-sensitive merch drops where you need consistent results across sizes and styles.

Choose gang sheets when you want to batch small logos, run multiple SKUs together, or maximize space for reorders. They’re perfect for creators running micro-drops, stores managing seasonal designs, and shops needing fast restocks without re-setup.

Small-Run & POD DTF Printing

Launch confidently with small-batch printing—start with a sample run, test demand, and reorder with the same color and quality. On-demand DTF supports micro-drops and restocks so you can stay lean while keeping fans happy.

For POD workflows, transfers let you press exactly what sold, when it sold. No overstock, no risk, and consistent color from one run to the next.

DTF Materials & Technique

We use water-based DTF inks for a rich, full-color look and a naturally soft feel. Premium films and adhesive powders bond cleanly to cotton, polyester, blends, and selected nylons, delivering excellent wash durability and stretch performance.

Our heat-press workflow focuses on time, temp, and pressure consistency. Pre-press removes moisture, transfers are placed and pressed with even pressure, and a quick post-press seals edges for long-wear, crack-resistant prints.

DTF vs Screen Printing / DTG

Screen Printing: Best for very large quantities of the same art. It excels at solid spot colors and long runs but requires screen setup and typical minimums.

DTG: Great for all-over color on cotton garments, especially single-unit prints, but it prints directly on fabric and can vary by fabric type and pre-treat.

DTF Transfers: Hit the sweet spot for detail, no minimums, and speed. Print once, press on many garment types, and keep quality consistent across tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, polos, and hats/caps.

Use Cases & Industries

  • T-Shirts & Hoodies: Photo-real graphics and gradients with a soft hand that holds up wash after wash.
  • Sweatshirts & Jackets: Bold logos and back graphics with clean edges on thicker layers.
  • Polos & Uniforms: Crisp brand marks that stand up to weekly washes and daily wear.
  • Events & Merch Drops: Fast quick turnaround with accurate reorders for restocks and size fills.
  • Promotional Apparel: Lightweight, comfortable prints that keep colors bright and lines sharp.

Design & Artwork Guidelines for DTF

Resolution: Export rasters at 300 dpi at print size with a transparent background. Keep fine lines at or above recommended minimums for edge clarity.
Vector & Color: Vectors (SVG/AI/PDF) are preferred for logos and typography. Convert fonts to outlines, and keep colors consistent across files for predictable results.
Underbase: Light inks over dark garments need a white underbase. We’ll handle the underbase in prepress so highlights pop and edges stay clean.
Preflight: Send print-ready files or request a free preflight check. We’ll flag any issues with resolution, line weight, or transparency before production.

Care & Durability

Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Turn garments inside-out and wash cold with mild detergent. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.

With proper care, DTF prints resist cracking and peeling and maintain color through repeated cycles. If you need help with care labels or usage notes, we’ll provide a simple guide for your team or customers.
